What is an AI employee, and what can it do for your business?

One assistant that finds customers, makes your content and answers every message, and asks your OK before anything goes out. Meet Wingz

The short version
- What it is: An AI that works on your business every day: marketing, replies, bookings and research, from one chat.
- How it works: You tell it about your business once. It reads your website, learns what you sell, and gets to work.
- Who it’s for: Owners who are good at what they do and short on time for everything around it.
- The safety rule: It prepares the work and asks before anything goes out in your name.
- Price: Start free with 50 credits. Plans from $20 a month.
The work around your work
Most small businesses are not short of skill. A great hairdresser, a careful accountant or a busy contractor already knows how to do the job. What runs out is time for everything around it: answering the enquiry that came in at 11 at night, posting this week, asking last month’s happy customer for a review, following up the quote nobody replied to.
An AI employee is built for exactly that layer. It is not a chatbot that waits for questions, and it is not a tool you have to learn. It is closer to a capable assistant who works through a list every week and comes back to you with what is done and what needs a yes.
What an AI employee does in a normal week
At Wingz the AI employee is called Mango, and you can rename it. In a normal week it:
- Gets you found: tracks the questions buyers ask ChatGPT and works to get your business into the answers.
- Wins customers: finds prospects and partners that fit, writes the first emails and follows up until they answer.
- Makes your content: social posts, pictures, short videos and blog articles, in your own look.
- Keeps the front desk: one inbox for forms, chats, email, DMs, comments and reviews, with replies drafted for you.
- Books the work: appointments on your Google Calendar, through your own booking page.
Every Monday (or the day you pick) it works a shift on its own and emails you a short report: what it did, what it found, and what it would like to do next.
How it learns your business
You start with one message: your website address, or a few lines about what you do. The AI employee reads your site, works out what you sell, who buys it and where you stand, and keeps that as notes it reads every time it works. Tell it once that you never discount, or that you only take bookings on weekdays, and it remembers.
If you do not have a website yet, Wingz can build one with Plum, the AI web designer that comes with Smart Hosting.
What it is not
An AI employee does not replace your judgement. It does not post, send or spend in your name without asking first: every email, post, website change and ad comes to you as a card you can approve, change or turn down. It also does not sign in to accounts as you. Where only you can do something, like verifying a Google profile, it writes out the steps and leaves that one to you.
The deal is simple: it does the preparing, you do the deciding.
Getting started
You can start free with 50 credits, which is enough for the AI employee to learn your business and work its first shift. When you want it working every week, plans start at $20 a month, and the $40 plan adds Plum to build and change your website.
